Island Hvar has an annual average of 7,7 sunshine hours per day and 2843 sunshine hours per year (for comparison, Nice in France has 7,2), provided a title of the “sunniest island” in the Adriatic.
Winters are mild, summers hot, while falls are somewhat warmer than springs.
In March and April, temperatures gradually rise as the day becomes longer, so April on Hvar resembles mid-summer in the majority of Central European cities.
